The T923 tape is a thin (0.05 mm), acrylic-based, glass-fibre reinforced, permanent adhesive transfer tape. This special adhesive tape has no backing and consists of a high-performance acrylic adhesive mass. The protective liner is made of brown silicone-coated paper. It has excellent resistance to ageing. T923 transfer tape is produced in jumbo, log and cut rolls on a 3" cardboard core. It is suitable for bonding various types of surface in the cardboard, photographic, framing and electronics sectors. The range of transfer tapes is generally suitable for bonding a variety of surfaces, such as paper, cardboard, metal, plastic, glass, wood, mosquito nets, displays and the pre-positioning of zips in leather goods, photography, samples and electronics.
T923 REVERSE WOUND STANDARD & P CORE
The T923 reverse transfer is also produced in a reverse-wound version, a special product that has been specially processed for use with 1" double-chamber plastic cores. These rolls can be applied using the special ATG and ATG Top Gun dispensers, which ensure precise and fast application while simultaneously recovering the siliconised paper. This saves the user time and material, and above all enables them to achieve a completely clean finish. It is available with a standard plastic core of 6–19 mm and a perforated (P-Core) of 6–9 mm, in rolls of 33 m (T923R/T923PR) or 55 m (T923RL/T923PRL).
Alongside the standard double-chamber core, SL offers an innovative alternative to the perforated chamber system for transfer ribbons (6 and 9 mm thick), which can be applied using the ATG system with simple black plastic adapters supplied with SL's ATG Top Gun. The 6 and 9 mm ribbons with a perforated chamber fit onto the adapter, which conveniently clicks into place in the gear of the ATG Top Gun applicator without the need for tools. This perforated core (P-Core) is available for any reverse-wound transfer tape produced by SL.
