SL has always worked with an effective quality system, as attested by the ISO certificates and other prestigious national and international certification bodies the company has obtained over the years.

SL pursues the objective of continuous improvement through increasing levels of productivity and efficiency, leveraging digitalization to simplify and speed-up processes, increasing the company competitiveness on the market. In fact, all company procedures, in accordance with ISO 9001, are designed to constantly improve efficiency in the production of its tapes and in the provision of customer service.

SL also continues its commitment to maintain the ISO 14001 certification, confirming the constant attention to contain the environmental impact of its activities. The company's certifications have been supplemented with the recognition, issued by a prestigious body, of the highest safety level R13, for SAFETY TREAD, ANTISLIP and COARSE, according to the slip resistance criteria of the new UNI EN 16165:2021 and DIN EN 16165:2023-02 standards.

R13 - UNI EN 16165:2021 & DIN EN 16165:2023-02: SAFETY TREAD, ANTISLIP & COARSE TAPES

The test finalized to determine the anti-slip characteristics of products, fixed the level of the SL anti-slip tapes on the highest performance.

It was carried out by a certified laboratory with repeated treading tests on an inclined plane of more than 35°, the area of which was paved with SAFETY TREAD, ANTISLIP and COARSE tapes, then greased with oil of viscosity SAE 10W30.

MAXIMUM SAFETY ON STAIRS, RAMPS AND SLIPPERY FLOORS

SAFETY TREAD, ANTISLIP and COARSE tapes, the most important anti-slip tapes in the Safety Line of SL, obtain the R13 classification according to UNI EN 16165:2021 & DIN EN 16165:2023-02, the highest level of safety and the maximum degree of anti-slip effect.
